In Solidarity

The murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless others Black lives are abhorrent and fatal consequences of the systematic racism in which this country has been built. As a person with a lighter skin tone who identifies as bi-cultural and bi-ethnic, I recognize my privilege of being able to move between two worlds more easily than some of my family and community members. We need more allies who will listen to the communities that need them most. Sound Wellness Music Therapy, LLC stands in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the Black and Brown communities.

Educating yourself is the first step in starting your journey as an ally. Here are 5 resources to educate yourself.
